Barbara A. Henderson, 66, of Bradys Bend, died Sunday December 18, 2016 at ACMH Hospital.

Born January 24, 1950 in Rimersburg, she was the daughter of Thomas and Rose (Lackovic) Sedok. 

A 1967 Graduate of Union High School and 1971 Graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Barb earned a Master Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology and a Certificate of Clinical Competency.  She was the Speech Pathologist for DuBois School District for 33 years. 

On December 26, 1970, Barb married Chris Henderson, he survives.

She was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church where she was a lector, a member of the Young at Heart and the Altar Rosary Society. 

Barb was a life member of the Brady’s Bend Historical Society, the Red Hat Society and a life member of the National Rifle Association. 

She is survived by her husband Chris Henderson of Bradys Bend, 1 son Ray Henderson of Bradys Bend, 2 brothers, Ed and wife Gloria Sedok of Forest Lake, MN, Tom and wife Denise Sedok of Cadogan, PA.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. 

Barb was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother, Gerald Sedok.

Services for Barbara A. Henderson will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the Henderson’s ask that donations be made in Barb’s name to Orphans of the Storm, 11878 State Route 85, Kittanning, PA 16201
