Rose M. Thompson, 74, of East Brady died Friday October 6, 2017 at her home.

Born April 30, 1943 in Butler, she was the daughter of Merle and Hazel Shay.

Rose enjoyed playing bingo, board games and scrabble.  You could usually find her cheering on the Steelers and Penguins or watching NASCAR race.  Rose also liked tending her garden and landscaping, painting and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Rose is survived by 4 daughters; Christine McCracken and husband Vaughn of Karns City, Lucinda Anthony and husband Kevin of Parker, Michelle Evankovich of East Brady and Ashley Bishop and husband Josh of Karns City.  3 sons; Gordon Thompson Jr. and wife Faith of Great Falls, MT, Zane Thompson and wife Lisa of Parker, and Shane Thompson and wife Nicole of Emlenton. 

She is also survived by 14 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. 

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gordon Thompson, 1 grandson Zachary Evankovich, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.

There will be no services for Rose M. Thompson.

Arrangements are under the direction of Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. East Brady, PA.

The Thompson family suggests donations be made in Rose's name to the Make a Wish Foundation, 707 Grant Street 37th Floor Pittsburgh, PA 15219
