William H. “Percy” Kelsea, 71, of East Brady died Saturday May 14, 2016 at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born October 6, 1944 in Bradys Bend, he was the son of William H.  and Helen R. (Crispen) Kelsea Jr. 

After graduating from East Brady High School in 1964, Percy served as a Specialist 4 in the US Army during the Vietnam War.  He was a recipient of the National Defense Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry.

He was a member of the American Legion Post #488/402 in Brady Bend.

Percy is survived by I daughter Kelly Kelsea of Karns City, 1 son Heath Kelsea of Butler and 1 Step Daughter Carla (Michael) Hillwig of West Sunbury.

He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, 10 step-great grandchildren

Percy was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother Russell Greenawalt.

A Memorial Service for William “Percy” Kelsea will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday May 21, 2016 at the American Legion in Bradys Bend. 

Memorial donation may be made in Percy’s name to American Legion Post #488, 975 State Route 68, East Brady, PA 16028
