David G. Miles Jr, 65, of Seybertown died Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Chicora Medical Center.

Born September 20, 1951 in Butler, he was the son of David “Gene” and Violet “Joan” (Crawford) Miles. 

A 1969 Graduate of East Brady High School, Dave worked as an auto mechanic at local car dealerships in his younger years.  While living in Texas, Dave owned and operated a lawn care business and after returning to East Brady, he was self-employed as a handyman. 

Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood-working and being outdoors; especially sitting around a campfire with friends.  He will be remembered as an excellent cook and decent golfer.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Danielle and her husband Kyle Jordan of Longview, TX, Lorie and her husband Dominic Galassi of Kittanning, 2 granddaughters, Faith and Addyson Jordan and 2 grandsons, Lucas and Benjamin Galassi.

Dave is also survived by his father, Gene Miles of East Brady, 1 sister, Amy and her husband Rick Snyder of Cumberland ME, and 2 brothers, Tim and his wife Jeanne Miles of East Brady and Drew and his wife Betty Miles of Bullard, TX.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan.

As per his request, there will be no services for David G. Miles Jr.

Arrangements are under the direction of Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., East Brady.

The Miles family suggests contributions be made in Dave’s name to Orphans of the Storm 11878 State Route 85, Kittanning, PA 16201
