Donald J. Campbell, 62, of Karns City died Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born July 12, 1955 in Butler, he was the son of Merle L. and Alene E. (Iman) Campbell. 

On May 21, 1990, Don married the former Connie Farone Hesidence.  Together, they enjoyed the past 27 years. 

Don was employed by Indespec Chemical in Petrolia for 35 years, retiring in 2010.  The past 7 years, he was enjoying his retirement detailing and restoring cars.  Don enjoyed hunting and being outdoors, working in the yard.  He was an avid Steeler Fan and enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia. 

He was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Bradys Bend and the Sons of Italy #1484 in Bradys Bend.

Don is survived by his wife; Connie Campbell of Karns City, his father; Merle Campbell of Kittanning, 1 brother; Merle (Jody) Campbell Jr. of Butler, 1 step-daughter Robin (David) Binkley of Plum, 1 step-son, John (Dyan) Hesidence Jr. of Karns City, 3 granddaughters; Paige (Derek Heeter) Hipple, Leah and Margaret Hesidence, 1 grandson; Dylan Hipple and 1 great-grandson; Carson Heeter.

He is also survived by 2 nieces; Sarah (Frank) Walowen, Michele (Zac) Boda, 1 nephew; Eric (Maria) Campbell, 1 great-niece; Agnes Boda and 2 great-nephews; Samuel and Gabriel Walowen.

Don was preceded in death by his mother.

Friends of Donald J. Campbell will be received from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. 707 Kellys Way, East Brady, PA 16028

A Parish Prayer Service will be held in the Funeral Home at 3:30 PM Tuesday.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at St. Patrick Church, Bradys Bend with Rev. John Butler officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

The Campbell family suggests donations be made in Don’s name to St. Mary’s Cemetery, 915 State Route 68, East Brady, PA 16028
