Larry D. Campbell, 69, of Gilbert, AZ formerly of Seybertown (Bradys Bend Twp.) died Friday, October 26, 2018.
Born April 6, 1949 in East Brady, he was the son of Alfred J. and Bernice B. (Tribley) Campbell.
Larry graduated from East Brady High School and University of Cincinnati. He was a Tool and Dye Designer his entire career for Magnetics in East Butler.
Larry was an avid hunter; he enjoyed biking, boating, being outdoors and walking Seybertown Road. He especially enjoyed teaching his nieces and nephews to waterski on the Allegheny River.
Every year Larry participated in the Alzheimer’s Association walk and he was the Chairman for the Butler Chapter of the United Cerebral Palsy Association. He organized many fundraisers and events over the years.
He was a lifelong member of St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church where he served as an usher.
He is survived by his wife Linda C. (Long) Campbell whom he married on August 25, 2007, of Gilbert, AZ, stepchildren Laura (Chris) Martin, Erica Early and Hilary Knisely, Sister Judy and husband Dale Coven of Cowansville, Brother A. John and wife Beverly Campbell of Tionesta.
He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; Annalise, Jack, Camren, Payten, Piper and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 step son; Justin Knisely.
Friends of Larry D. Campbell will be received from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-9:00 PM Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. 707 Kellys Way, East Brady, PA 16028
A parish prayer service will be held at 3:30 PM Thursday in the Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Friday, November 2, 2018 at St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church in East Brady with Rev. William Kuba officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH!
Burial will follow in St. Eusebius Cemetery.
