Betty J. Campbell

Betty J. Campbell, 91, of East Brady died Sunday, July 6, 2025 at the Chicora Medical Center.

Born June 27, 1934 in Connoquenessing, she was the daughter of Lester P. and Leah (Burr) Domhoff. 

Betty was employed for many years at Moonlight Mushroom and later, International Staple and Machine.

On July 12, 1957, she married Robert M. Campbell, he preceded her in death July 9, 2013.

Betty was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Chicora, and she enjoyed quilting blankets which she donated to charity.  For many years, she enjoyed wintering in Naples, Florida. Betty became quite an angler and loved fishing. She could often be found playing cards with her husband.

Surviving are two daughters, Kathy J. (Steve) Hiles of Chicora, Cheryl (Keith) Hilt of Rogers, Ark., and one son, Robert M. (Lori) Campbell Jr. of East Brady. 

Betty is also survived by six grandchildren, Carissa (Steve) Huey, Jennifer (Shawn) Maley, Steven (Natalie) Hiles, Brandy Molley, Craig (Paige) Campbell, Jamie (Jeremiah) Heasley and nine great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Services for Betty J. Campbell will be private.  Interment will be at St. John’s Cemetery in Connoquenessing.  Arrangements are under the direction of Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., East Brady.

The Campbell family suggests that memorials may be made in Betty’s name to St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery Association 100 Main Street, Connoquenessing, PA 16027 or Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2217 Chicora Road, Chicora PA 16025.
