Obituary

Betty J. Hicks, 74, of Parker died Thursday, April 1, 2021.

Born February 3, 1947 in Pikeville, KY, she was the daughter of Charlie D. and Nettie D. (Steffey) Gross.

Betty had previously been employed by Bobbie Brooks and the Bradys Bend T-Shirt factory.

In 1992, Betty married William F. Hicks, he preceded her in death in 2020.

Betty enjoyed crocheting gifts, playing computer games and crafting.

She is survived by three daughters, Judy (Mike) McCollough, Jodi (Luther) Summerville, Vicki (Alan) Flockerzi and two sons, Donald Dobson, and William (Susan) Hicks III. 

Betty is also survived by three sisters, Tammy (Ricky) Ray, Cora (Tommy) Parker, Nettie (Albert) Martsolf, 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and beloved in-laws. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two brothers.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, April 5, 2021 in Brady Bend Cemetery with Pastor Paul DeBacco officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Buechele Funeral Home, East Brady, PA.
