Clarence L. "Jumbo" Deitz, 71 of Bradys Bend died Tuesday November 4, 2014 at UPMC Presbyterian.
Born September 20, 1943 in Roseville, he was the son of Robert C. Shakely and Ella Mae Crawford.
On June 21, 1986, Jumbo married the former Vicki L. Mortimer she survives.
He had worked for Joseph Company in East Butler and was a member of the Laborers Union #1058.
Jumbo enjoyed playing softball, cards, board games and hunting.
He is survived by his wife Vicki Deitz of Bradys Bend, 3 sons Bob (Beth) Deitz of Hubbard, OH, John (Jill) Deitz of East Brady, and Jimmy (Tabitha) Mortimer of Bradys Bend. 3 daughters Mary Calloway (William Payne) of Rimersburg, Nancy (Vaughn) Williams of Sharon, PA, and Heidi (Dave) Young of Butler.
2 brothers George (Pam) Deitz and Jack (Ida) Deitz both of Bradys Bend and 1 Sister Katie Foringer of East Brady.
19 Grandchildren and 32 Great Grandchildren.
Jumbo was preceded in death by his parents, 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Friends of Clarence L. "Jumbo" Deitz will be received 4-7pm Friday November 7, 2014 at Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. 707 Kellys Way East Brady PA 16028.
Funeral Services will be at 7pm Friday in the Funeral Home with the Rev. Pete Sapp of the Trinity Church in Bradys Bend officiating.
Burial in St. Eusebius Cemetery will be private.
