Elinor L. Robinson, 80 of Bradys Bend died Saturday February 2, 2013 at her home. 

Born December 9, 1932 in East Brady, she was the daughter of James W. and Beulah M. (Catchpole) Silvis. 

Elinor was employed by the Hot Dog Shop in Butler, Long's Dry Cleaners in Chicora, and Owens Illinois Glass Corporation in Clarion.  She later worked for Knox Glass in Parker, PA. She retired from Butler County Mushroom Farm where she worked in the research department. 

She was a member of the Regular Baptist Church in East Brady where she was a former choir director and a deaconess. 

Elinor was a past member of the East Brady Fire Company Auxiliary, a member of the Chicora Senior Center, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #488 in Bradys Bend where she served as the historian and poppy chairman. 

For 19 years, Elinor volunteered with the Bradys Bend Food Bank and also the Butler VA Hospital. 

She enjoyed crocheting, painting, crafting making and line dancing.  She was a member of the cast in the stage production "Jesus Christ" which was performed in East Brady for several years.

Elinor's family would like to thank Kyle Voss of Three Rivers Hospice for his special care of her.

Elinor is survived by 1 brother, Raymond H. Silvis of Bruin, PA.  2 Sisters, Sandra A. Webb of South Daytona, FL and Gail D. (John) Potts of Titusville. 
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clifford E. Robinson, 2 Brothers William A. Silvis and James W. Silvis,  4 Sisters Dolores V. Robinson, Shirley M. Heckler, Kathryn L. Silvis and an infant, and 1 sister in Law Jean Silvis


Friends of Elinor Robinson will be received 2-4, 6-8pm Tuesday February 5, 2013 at the Charles B. Buechele Funeral Home 105 4th Street East Brady, PA 16028
Additional visitation will be held from 10-11am Wednesday February 6, 2013 at the funeral home. 
Funeral Services will be held at 11am Wednesday February 6, 2013 in the funeral home with Pastor Mark Hillwig of the East Brady Baptist Church officiating.
Burial in Bradys Bend Cemetery will be private.
