Ethel P. Double, 72, of Chicora died Thursday, December 1, 2022 at ACMH Hospital.
Born June 9, 1950 in East Brady, she was the daughter of James J. and Mary L. (Berteotti) Infantino.
Ethel was a 1968 Graduate of East Brady High School and a 1972 Graduate of Indiana University of PA with a degree in Elementary Education. Ethel taught for 35 years in the Armstrong School District.
On June 30, 1973, she married Harold J. Double, he survives.
Ethel was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening in her back yard and meeting her long-time teacher colleagues for their monthly meals.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Double of Chicora and two sons, Ryan Double and Travis Double, both of Chicora.
Ethel is also survived by three sisters, Bridget and husband John Mayak of Somerset, Mary Ann and husband Andrew Zeitler of Washington, PA, Judy Infantino of Chicora, one brother, Richard Infantino of Chicora and large extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother, James Infantino.
Friends of Ethel P. Double will be received from 2:00-4:00PM, Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. 707 Kellys Way, East Brady, PA 16028.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at St. Patrick Church, 915 State Route 68, East Brady, PA 16028 with Rev. Victor Baguna, officiating.
Her burial will be private.
