Gladys M. Phillips, 91, of Bradyview Manor, East Brady, formerly of Rimersburg died Saturday April 7, 2012 at the Bradyview Manor. 

Born March 31, 1921, she was the daughter of Henry and Phoebe (Hepler) Cathcart. 
On September 1, 1939, Gladys married Frank L. Phillips, he preceded her in death on September 23, 1983. 
She was a member of the East Brady Methodist Church, and the American Legion Auxiliary Post #488.  She enjoyed cooking and quilting. Gladys loved all of her grandchildren dearly. 
She was a cook at Clairview Rest home for 12 years.  Gladys was also employed at a local Jewelry Store in Tyler, TX many years ago. 

Gladys is survived by 1 Daughter, Janice Boyle and her husband Thomas of East Brady.  4 Sons, Robert and Loretta Phillips of Gainsville, VA, Waine and Cindy Phillips, Dennis and Robin Phillips, and Frank and Paulette Phillips all of Fort Wayne, IN. 

She is also survived by 3 sisters, Edith, Jean and Ruby, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. 

Gladys was preceded in death by her husband Frank L. Phillips, her parents, and 3 Sisters Helen, Betty and Elsie. 

Friends of Gladys M. Phillips will be received 2-4, 6-8pm Wednesday April 11, 2012 at the Charles B. Buechele Funeral Home 105 4th Street, East Brady, PA 16028.
Funeral Services will be held 11am Thursday April 12, 2012 at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Katherine Reitz, Pastor of the United Methodist Monroe Chapel, and Pastor Mark Hillwig of the East Brady Baptist Church, Officiating. 
Committal Services and Burial will follow in Squirrel Hill Cemetery.
