Gordon D. Thompson, 77, of East Brady died Thursday December 12, 2013 at his home. 

Born July 19, 1936 in Butler, PA, he was the son of David and Edna M. (Husselton) Thompson. 

For 25 years, Gordon drove truck for Penreco in Karns City. 

He enjoyed fishing and hunting. 

Surviving is his wife Rose M. Thompson of East Brady, 4 daughters Christine McCracken and husband Vaughn of Karns City, Lucinda Anthony and husband Kevin of Parker, Michelle Evankovich of East Brady and Ashley Bishop and husband Josh of Karns City.  3 sons, Gordon Thompson Jr. and wife Faith of Great Falls, MT, Zane Thompson and wife Lisa of Parker, and Shane Thompson and wife Nicole of Emlenton. 
He is also survived by 2 brothers David Thompson of Alaska and Gary Thompson of Parker, and 3 sisters Jeannie Kriebel of Parker, Charlotte Lauer of Parker and Carolyn Rogers of Butler. 14 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. 

Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, 1 Grandson, 2 Sisters Verna Patton and Helen Thompson, and 2 brothers Daryl Thompson and Bernard Thompson. 

There will be no services for Gordon D. Thompson.

Arrangements are under the direction of Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. East Brady, PA.

The Thompson family suggests donations be made in Gordon's name to the Make a Wish Foundation, 707 Grant Street 37th Floor Pittsburgh, PA 15219
