James A. "Chud" Patton

James A. “Chud” Patton, 57, of East Brady died Thursday, January 9, 2025 at home.

Born January 11, 1967, in Kittanning, he was the son of Robert G. and Diane E. (Boyle) Patton. 

A 1985 Graduate of East Brady High School, Chud had previously been employed as a maintenance worker for East Brady and Rimersburg Boroughs.  He currently worked at his sister Renee’s, St. Cloud Hotel.

Chud was of Catholic faith.  He enjoyed playing BINGO and looked forward to Thursday night BINGO at the firehall.  He was a Pittsburgh sports fanatic and always believed this was the year for the Pirates!

He is survived by three children, Matthew Patton of Chicora, James Patton of Emlenton, Kayla Horner of Rimersburg and six grandchildren, Hendrix, Benny, Elliot, Jack, Carson and Brooklynn. 

He is also survived by one sister Renee Patton, one brother Robert “Bub” Patton, and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

Chud was preceded in death by his parents.

At his request, all services for Chud Patton will be private.

Arrangements are under the direction of Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., East Brady.
