Miriam Ann Mooers, 79 of Covina, CA died April 24, 2012 after a lengthy illness. 
Born May 18, 1932 in Butler, PA to Joseph H. Sr. & Eva Belle McClaine of East Brady, PA. 
She is a graduate of East Brady High School and Grace Martin Business School in Pittsburgh, PA.
Miriam worked as a secretary in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and in Cleveland, Ohio before relocating to Miami, Florida.  There Miriam met the love of her life, John Mooers. They married in 1961 in Huntsville, Alabama while John was serving in the US Army.  They moved to Covina in 1963 and raised a family of four children.

Miriam is survived by her husband John, sons Michael and John, daughters Barbara and Angela and five grandchildren.

Surviving siblings include Diane Miskiel of Long Beach, CA, Joseph McClaine of East Brady, Jeanen Hall of East Brady, Thomas McClaine of New Bethlehem and Frederick McClaine of Butler, PA

Visitation will be @ the Oakdale Memorial Park Chapel, Glendora, CA, May 1 @ 6:30 PM followed by the Rosary.  A Funeral Mass will be held May 2 @ 10:00 AM @ Sacred Heart Church, Covina, CA.  Interment will follow at Oakdale.
