Nancy E. Geagan

Nancy E. Geagan, 83, of East Brady died Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the Chicora Medical Center. 

Born February 7, 1936 in Bruin, PA, she was the daughter of Hubert P. and Mary E. (Armbruster) Kohnen.

On September 22, 1955, Nancy married the late Joseph E. Geagan.  He preceded her in death on May 8, 2001.

Nancy was a picker and packer for Moonlight Mushroom for 22 years.  She was of Catholic Faith and enjoyed bowling, bingo and playing cards.

Surviving is 1 son; Richard E. Geagan of Saxonburg, 1 son-in-law; Michael Hall of East Brady, 4 grandchildren; Sean Geagan, Jenn Stivason, Bryanna Huet, Jason Hall and 4 great-grandchildren, Steviee, Hailey, Anna and Ella.

She is also survived by 3 sisters; Bonnie McGarvy, Gail (Gene) Wolfe, Sandra Heasley and 1 brother; Charles Kohnen.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 daughter; Laura Hall, and 4 brothers.

Friends of Nancy E. Geagan will be received from 2:00-4:00, and 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. 707 Kellys Way, East Brady, PA 16028. 

Funeral Services will be held from the Funeral Home at 4:00 PM Tuesday with Rev. William Kuba, officiating.

Private burial will be in West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
