Nancy T. Jones, 70, of Hillville, (Perry Twp, Armstrong Co.) died Thursday November 15, 2012 at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born October 4, 1942, she was the daughter of Leonard and Kathleen (Waugaman) Tom.

Nancy was a graduate of Highlands High School and Clarion University. She taught 1st Grade at Chicora Elementary for 6 years.

On June 6, 1964, she married Jack L. Jones at the Chicora United Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on June 30, 2007.

Nancy enjoyed wildlife and bird watching, along with flower gardening. She volunteered at Chicora Elementary. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her grandson A.J.

Surviving is her son Mark L. Jones and his companion Cathi R. Bowser of Hillville. 1 Stepson Donald Meyers and wife Teresa of Klamatha Falls, OR. 1 Grandson Andrew F. "AJ" Jones of Hillville, 1 Step Grandson Bradley J. Bowser of Hillville, and 2 Step Granddaughters Jasmin and Sammi Meyers of Klamatha Falls.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

There will be no services for Nancy T. Jones.

Nancy's family suggests memorial contributions be made in her name to the Orphans of the Storm 11878 Route 85, Kittanning, PA 16201
