Pat Minnie Zimmel, 91, of Allentown PA formerly of Bradys Bend died Monday May 19, 2014 at Luther Crest Senior Living Community in Allentown. 

Born January 13, 1923 in Bradys Bend, she was the daughter of Dominick A. and Mary (Depolite) Patsy.

On January 26, 1948, Minnie married Bernard Zimmel.  He preceded her in death on February 16, 1988. 

For many years Minnie was a clerk at the Ben Franklin 5&10 store in East Brady.  She later was a manager at West Kittanning Lumber Co. for 13 years. 

Minnie attended of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society.  She enjoyed baking, gardening, flowers and shopping but she especially enjoyed celebrating the Christmas season. 

She is survived by 2 sons, Larry Zimmel and his wife Karin of Canonsburg and Robert Zimmel and his wife Jody of Allentown.  1 Granddaughter Kelly Reynolds and husband Brent, 3 Grandsons Kevin Zimmel and wife Jessica, Zachary Zimmel and Nathan Zimmel.  2 Great Grandsons Chase and Jacob Reynolds. 

Minnie is also survived by 1 Brother Samuel Patsy and his wife Mildred of Rockville, MD. 

Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 8 brothers and 1 sister.

Friends of Pat Minnie Zimmel will be received from 11-1pm Thursday May 22, 2014 at the Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services 707 Kelly's Way East Brady, PA 16028

A Blessing Service will be held in the Funeral Home at 1pm Thursday with the Rev. John Butler, pastor of St. Patrick Church celebrating. 

A private burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the Zimmel family suggests contributions be made to St. Patrick Church or St. Mary Cemetery 915 State Route 68 East Brady, PA 16028
