Raymond K. Crawford, 78, of Sugarcreek Twp, Armstrong Co. (Kittanning Hollow) died Friday March 8, 2013 at St. Vincent Health Center, Erie. 

Born August 31, 1934 in Cove Run (Bradys Bend), he was the son of Harry E. and Minnie M. (Bowser) Crawford.

On July 26, 1957, he married Judith E. (Shultz) Crawford, she survives.

Raymond briefly worked for East Brady Boro, then for 4 years for Dewey Gas Company in Bradys Bend.  In 1987, Raymond retired from the Bessemer Lake Erie Railroad after 35 years.

In the early 1960's, he was a fireman for the Western Allegheny (Kaylor) Fire Department.  Raymond enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, woodworking but most of all, loved repairing and tinkering with lawnmowers. 


Surviving is his wife of 56 years Judy Crawford of Sugarcreek Twp., 4 Daughters, Cher Painter and husband Denny of Rimersburg, Annie Denny and husband Ron of Worthington, Kay Wiles and husband Bob of East Brady, and Kim King and husband Troy of East Brady.  1 Son Ken Crawford and wife Kathy of East Brady.
Raymond is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters and 5 brothers and 2 great grandchildren. 

Friends of Raymond Crawford will be received 2-4, 6-8pm Tuesday March 12, 2013 at the Charles B. Buechele Funeral Home 105 4th Street East Brady, PA 16028
Additional calling hours will be held from 10am until the time of Funeral Services at 11am Wednesday March 13, 2013 in the funeral home.  Pastor Paul DeBacco of the Criswell Bible Baptist Church will officiate. 
Committal services and burial will follow in Bradys Bend Cemetery, Bradys Bend, PA
