Richard R. "Ryan" Olcus, 58, of Sugarcreek Twp, Armstrong Co. died Sunday November 24, 2013 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Born December 30, 1954 in Butler, PA, he was the son of John R. and Bonnie Lou (Crissman) Olcus.
A 1973 Graduate of East Brady High School, he first worked for TopsAll Market in East Brady, then Ryan was a Picker for 20 years with Moonlight Mushroom. For the past 18 years, he was employed by Commercial Metals in Sugarcreek Twp.
Ryan was a member of the Trinity Reformed Church in Bradys Bend.
For 20 years, he coached youth football in the East Brady Area. Ryan was a member of the F&AM #244 Kittanning/East Brady Lodge, a member of the Scottish Right, Sons of the American Legion, and the SOI in Bradys Bend.
Ryan was also a Sugarcreek Twp. Volunteer Fireman, a member of the Kaylor Camp, the 4 Mile Road Camp in Clearfield and the Snowhill Card Club. He loved sports and enjoyed watching them on television, hunting, fishing and playing cards. Ryan especially enjoyed his annual hunting trips with his buddies to Coudersport.
Ryan is survived by his parents John and Bonnie Olcus of Sugarcreek Twp. 2 aunts Alice Fennell and husband Bill of Karns City, and Jean Olcus of Chicora.
He is also survived by many cousins and a special little girl Kiara Hawk.
Ryan was preceded in death by his companion Dianne Hawk who died alongside Ryan, his grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles.
Friends of Richard R. "Ryan" Olcus will be received 2-4, 6-8pm Wednesday November 27, 2013 at Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 707 Kelly's Way East Brady, PA 16028.
Funeral Services will be held 11am FRIDAY November 29, 2013 at Buechele Funeral Home with Pastor Pete Sapp of the Trinity Reformed Church officiating.
Burial in Bradys Bend Cemetery will be private.
