Robin Geibel, 59, of East Brady passed away surrounded by her loving family August 12, 2021. A loving wife and mother, she loved being GiGi most of all.
Robin was an avid reader and Facebook political correspondent, who never shied away from discussions, heated or otherwise. Other passions included eating only the best parts of all of the pork chops (but saving the rest), baking (while complaining the whole time), and beating everyone at Jeopardy.
Robin was quietly the smartest person in the room, although she loved to learn something new every day. A music aficionado, who loved to sing with all of her heart and soul, Robin couldn't carry a tune in a bucket and lamented that in her past life she must've been an opera star. An avid gardener, Robin loved to beautify her surroundings with plants and flowers.
Although she loved being a wife and mother, it was being "GiGi" where she truly flourished; practicing cheerleading routines, dancing, and being the best friend to granddaughter Keira was the role she had grown to love best.
Robin is survived by her husband Larry Geibel of East Brady. Three sons, Brookes (David) Decker of New York City, John (Mallory) Geibel of Connecticut and Andrew Geibel of East Brady. One daughter, Lexi Geibel (Justin Wagner) of East Brady and granddaughter Keira Shuffert of East Brady.
She is also survived by one sister, Terri (John) Lynch of East Brady, three brothers Wade McLauglin of Minneapolis, Peter McLauglin and Bruce McLauglin of Wisconsin, her mother-in-Law, Shirley Geibel of Petrolia, and many beloved brothers and sisters-in laws as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Robin was preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth (Patsy) Eschenfeldt, father-in-law Lester Geibel, and her beloved dog Roxie.
At her request, there will be no public services.
