Obituary
Ruth E. Morris, 74 of Houston TX, died Monday, February 28 at her home.
Born September 30, 1947 in East Brady, she was the daughter of Robert R. and Marie E. (Curran) Heginbotham.
A 1965 Graduate of East Brady High School, Ruth attended technical school in Pittsburgh, then joined the US Navy. Upon her discharge, she attended the University of Houston and obtained a BS degree in Computer Science. She was employed as a computer programmer for McDonald Douglas then Vista Chemical and finally HP Computer Solutions.
She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family, feeding people, volunteering with numerous charities, mentoring students at the local elementary school, and visiting with friends and neighbors.
Ruth is survived by: one daughter, Stephenie (Josh) Huffman of Tomball, TX. and 3 granddaughters, Kristen Love, Jodie Love, and Caitlyn (Drake) Huffman-Derouen.
She is also survived by two sisters; Shirley Slagle of East Brady and Jane (Harry) Wagner of East Brady. Two brothers; Steven R. (Mary Ann) Heginbotham of East Brady and Denis Heginbotham of Bradys Bend.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Jason Love.
