Sharon L. Kendra, 69, of Brookville formerly of East Brady died Monday September 23, 2013 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center. 

Born October 30, 1943 in Washington D.C, she was the daughter of Arnold P. and Dorothy J. (Hillwig) Wimer.

Sharon attended East Brady High School and was a graduate of Butler LPN school, she worked for DuBois Medical Center for 10 years. 

Sharon enjoyed cross stitch, needle point, sewing, knitting afghans, painting and ceramics.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years Jude M. Kendra of Brookville, 1 Daughter Julie Scholl and husband John of Pittsburgh, 2 sons Karl Dean Stewart and wife Thelma of Rimersburg, and Brent Shepard and wife Alicia of Virginia Beach. 

Sharon is also survived by her mother Dorothy Wimer of East Brady, 1 sister Kay Crissman and husband Clarence of Kittanning,  1 Sister in Law Peggy Wimer of East Brady and 8 Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, 1 Brother Neil Wimer and 2 sons, infant Stephen Stewart and Larry Stewart.
 
Funeral Services for Sharon L. Kendra will be private. 

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Charles B. Buechele Funeral Home, East Brady.
