Obituary
Thomas G. Young, 73, of Karns City died Thursday, June 23, 2022 at his home.
Born April 30, 1949 in Karns City, he was the son of Richard G. and Betty (Gershak) Young.
Tom was a 1967 Graduate of Karns City High School where shortly after, he joined the US Army in Vietnam. Tom served for two years and was honorably discharged.
For a time, Tom worked at Witco Chemical. He enjoyed antique cars and tractors, liked helping friends and family with home improvement projects, relaxed watching television and enjoyed the company of his cats.
Tom is survived by one daughter, Carrie Young of Karns City, and one son, Brian Young of Karns City. One granddaughter, Brittany Bellas (Ian Chave) of Bradys Bend and one great granddaughter, Pheaby Chave.
He is also survived by two sisters, Donna Coachman of East Brady, Betty Zimmell of Karns City, one brother, Richard Young of Butler and his former son in law, Harvey Bellas of East Brady.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Carol Hiles.
Friends of Thomas G. Young will be received from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, June 27, 2022 at Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. 707 Kellys Way, East Brady, PA 16028.
