Vicki L. Deitz, 66, of Bradys Bend died Friday morning at her home. 

Born April 11, 1949 in Lawsonham, she was the daughter of William E. and Dorothy M. (Simpson) Mortimer.

A graduate of Union High School, Vicki first worked at the Davis Cookie Company and then for 20 years for HelpMates Inc. in Kittanning as an health aid.

On June 21, 1986, Vicki married the late Clarence L. "Jumbo" Deitz.  He preceded her in death on November 4, 2014.

Vicki loved to shop for a good bargain, enjoyed tending her flower garden and the company of family picnics,  campfires and sitting on her front porch.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Heidi (Dave) Young of Butler, Nancy (Vaughn) Williams of Sharon and Mary Calloway (William Payne) of Rimersburg and 3 sons Jimmy (Tabitha) Mortimer of Bradys Bend, John (Jill) Deitz of East Brady and Bob (Beth) Deitz of Hubbard, OH.

Vicki is also survived by 1 sister Darla Confer, 4 brothers Jerry, Doug, Todd and Nathan Mortimer, 19 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 brother Kevin Mortimer, 1 sister Pam Mortimer, 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Friends of Vicki L. Deitz will be received 2-5pm Sunday June 14, 2015 at the Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. 707 Kellys Way East Brady, PA 16028.

Funeral Services will be held at 5pm in the Funeral Home with the Rev. Pete Sapp of the Trinity Church officiating.

Private burial will be in St. Eusebius Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the Deitz family suggests contributions be made to the Orphans of the Storm 11878 State Route 85 Kittanning, PA 16201
