Yvonne R. Bowser

Yvonne R. Bowser, 85, of East Brady died Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Clarion Healthcare and Rehab.

Born June 19, 1940 in Prospect, she was the daughter of Edward H. and Jewel G. Eckert.

On February 18, 1960, she married Larry D. Bowser Sr.  He preceded her in death in 2018.

Yvonne worked for a time as an aide at Butler Hospital then was a housekeeper for many years for families in the area.

Yvonne had a sweet tooth, enjoyed a simple life; sitting on the porch, watching neighbors and being surrounded by her family.

Yvonne is survived by 2 daughters; Patsy (James Greenawalt) Beabout of Rimersburg, Peggy (Dave) Bowser of East Brady and 1 son; Larry (Michelle) Bowser Jr. of North Carolina.

She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; Heather (William Jr.) Wiant, David (Amanda) McClaine, Seth Bowser, Haley Bowser, Desirae Bowser, 7 great-grandchildren, Cole, Dane and Eli Wiant, Tegan Bowser, Silas Bowser, Mason Hendricks, Jaden Hendricks and her dear friend and roommate, Jill at Clarion Healthcare.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Larry, and one granddaughter, Katie Bobbert.

The Bowser family would like to thank Jennifer Callender for her loving care and friendship in Yvonne’s final months.

At her request, there will be no services. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc, East Brady, PA.

The Bowser family suggests that memorials may be made in the form of contributions to Clarion Healthcare and Rehab (999 Heidrick Street, Clarion PA 16214) to make the stay more enjoyable for the residents.
